What you will Learn in Level 2 Courses:
Make your metalsmithing practice further in this Level 2 silversmithing course in Edmonton. Designed for students with prior silversmithing experience, this course builds on foundational techniques while introducing more complex processes and project-based learning.
Working under the guidance of an experienced instructor, you’ll tackle advanced jewelry-making methods such as constructing multi-layered designs, setting gemstones with corners and prongs, and creating texture through etching and roll printing. You’ll also learn how to roll your own silver sheet and wire, incorporate rivets, explore enameling, and experiment with sand casting to create unique, dimensional forms.
These courses emphasizes both technical growth and creative exploration. Students are encouraged to push their design ideas while refining precision and problem-solving skills. Small class sizes allow for individualized instruction and thoughtful feedback as you work through more ambitious projects.
