Silver solder joins fine and sterling silver pieces. It can also be used with base metals like copper and brass. Use this for final soldering operations. Sheet solder makes it easy to cut the right size and shape for the job. 
 
Solder sheet comes in 3 different melting temperatures:
Easy: 1325°F
Medium: 1390°F
Hard: 1425°F
