Studio Time

Don’t have space for a studio at home? Bedrock Studios offers open studio access to anyone who has taken a class at Bedrock Supply. Work on your projects during store hours in our fully equipped silversmithing studio.

Studio time is available by the hour, in discounted time blocks, or as a monthly option.

If you’re working toward a deadline or planning to come in with a group of three or more, please contact us in advance to ensure availability for your intended activity.

Studio Rental Rates

$10/hr — Silversmithing Studio Time

Discounted Time Blocks:

• 10 hours for $80 ($8/hr)

• 20 hours for $140 ($7/hr)

• Monthly Memberships $195 per month (monthly membership also works around class times). Monthly memberships are for one consecutive month or 30 day period and cannot be paused and restarted. 

Studio time is non-transferable. Unused studio hours expire one year after purchase.

Silversmithing Studio Time Includes

Access to professional tools and equipment, including:

• Soldering torches and flux

• Buffs and basic polishing compounds

• Hand tools (white toolbox)

• Hammers, including specialty hammers (upon request)

• Dapping and cutting tools

• Ring bender and shears

• Polishing machines and Foredom tools

• Rolling mills

• Metal Roller

• Ultrasonic cleaner and steamer

• Wax injector (if doing a lot, donation of some wax to replace what is used), vulcanizer, Wax carving tools and accessories.

Does NOT Include

• Solder

• Saw blades

• Sandpaper

• Burs and drill bits

• Flex shaft accessories

• Lacquer and plating solutions

• Other consumable materials

• Centrifugal casting machine

• Personal one-on-one instruction

Studio Guidelines

• Safety glasses and closed-toe footwear must be worn at all times. Long hair must be tied back when using equipment such as polishing motors, drill presses, flex shaft tools, or torches.

• Gloves may not be worn while polishing.

• Students may only use equipment they have been trained on during Bedrock classes or directly by Bedrock instructors, regardless of prior experience elsewhere.

• All tools must be wiped down after use, and hand sanitizer must be used before and after studio sessions.
